Acceptance of Terms​

By accessing and using ClaudeLog (https://www.claudelog.com), you accept and agree to be bound by the terms and provision of this agreement. If you do not agree to abide by the above, please do not use this service.

Eligibility and Age Requirements​

Minimum Age​

You must be at least 13 years old to use our Service. If you are under 18 years of age, you must have your parent or guardian read and agree to these Terms of Service before you use our Service.

If you are under 18, your parent or guardian must consent to these Terms of Service and supervise your use of our Service. By allowing your child to use our Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service in respect of your child's use.

Prohibited Users​

Our Service is not available to:

  • Children under 13 years of age
  • Persons who have been previously suspended or removed from our Service
  • Persons who are prohibited from receiving our services under applicable law

Description of Service​

ClaudeLog is a documentation website providing guides, tutorials, best practices, and insights about Claude Code, Claude AI, and related technologies. We offer:

  • Technical documentation and tutorials
  • Community-driven FAQ system
  • Best practices and optimization techniques
  • News and updates about Claude Code

Use License​

Permission is granted to temporarily download one copy of the materials on ClaudeLog for personal, non-commercial transitory viewing only. This is the grant of a license, not a transfer of title, and under this license you may not:

  • Modify or copy the materials
  • Use the materials for any commercial purpose or for any public display (commercial or non-commercial)
  • Attempt to decompile or reverse engineer any software contained on ClaudeLog
  • Remove any copyright or other proprietary notations from the materials

This license shall automatically terminate if you violate any of these restrictions and may be terminated by us at any time. Upon terminating your viewing of these materials or upon the termination of this license, you must destroy any downloaded materials in your possession whether in electronic or printed format.

User Content and Contributions​

Submissions​

When you submit content to ClaudeLog (such as CLAUDE.md files, comments, suggestions, or support contributions including images), you grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free, perpetual, and worldwide license to use, modify, and display your content for the purpose of operating and improving our service.

Support Contributions​

When you contribute to ClaudeLog through our support platform or provide images, personal information, or other content:

  • We reserve the sole discretion to determine whether and how to display your contributions publicly
  • Providing an image or personal information does not guarantee it will be displayed on our website
  • We may choose to feature, modify, or exclude any contributions based on our editorial judgment
  • You retain ownership of your original content, but grant us usage rights as described above

Responsibility for Content​

You are solely responsible for any content you submit. You represent and warrant that:

  • You own or have the necessary rights to submit the content
  • The content does not infringe on any third-party rights
  • The content is not defamatory, obscene, or otherwise objectionable
  • The content does not contain viruses or malicious code

Content Moderation​

We reserve the right to remove or modify any user-submitted content at our sole discretion, without notice.

Intellectual Property Rights​

Our Content​

The content on ClaudeLog, including but not limited to text, graphics, logos, images, and software, is owned by us or our content suppliers and is protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws.

Third-Party Content​

We respect the intellectual property rights of others and expect our users to do the same. References to Claude Code, Claude AI, and Anthropic are for informational purposes. We are not affiliated with Anthropic.

If you believe that your copyrighted work has been copied and is accessible on our Service in a way that constitutes copyright infringement, you may notify us by providing our designated copyright agent with the following information:

  • A physical or electronic signature of the copyright owner or authorized representative
  • Identification of the copyrighted work claimed to have been infringed
  • Identification of the material claimed to be infringing and information reasonably sufficient to permit us to locate the material

Counter-Notification​

If you believe that material you posted was removed or disabled by mistake or misidentification, you may file a counter-notification with our DMCA agent by providing:

  • Your physical or electronic signature
  • Identification of the material and its location before removal
  • A statement under penalty of perjury that the material was removed by mistake or misidentification
  • Your name, address, telephone number, and consent to jurisdiction of the federal court in Uganda or your local jurisdiction

Repeat Infringer Policy​

We will terminate the accounts of users who are repeat infringers in appropriate circumstances.

Privacy​

Your privacy is important to us. Please review our Privacy Policy, which also governs your use of the Service.

Disclaimer of Warranties​

The materials on ClaudeLog are provided on an 'as is' basis. We make no warranties, expressed or implied, and hereby disclaim and negate all other warranties including without limitation:

  • Implied warranties or conditions of merchantability
  • Fitness for a particular purpose
  • Non-infringement of intellectual property or other violation of rights

Further, we do not warrant or make any representations concerning the accuracy, likely results, or reliability of the use of the materials on its website or otherwise relating to such materials or on any sites linked to this site.

Limitations of Liability​

In no event shall ClaudeLog or its suppliers be liable for any damages (including, without limitation, damages for loss of data or profit, or due to business interruption) arising out of the use or inability to use the materials on ClaudeLog, even if ClaudeLog or a ClaudeLog authorized representative has been notified orally or in writing of the possibility of such damage. Because some jurisdictions do not allow limitations on implied warranties, or limitations of liability for consequential or incidental damages, these limitations may not apply to you.

Indemnification​

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless ClaudeLog, its officers, directors, employees, agents, and affiliates from and against any and all claims, damages, obligations, losses, liabilities, costs, or debt, and expenses (including but not limited to attorney's fees) arising from:

  • Your use of our Service
  • Your violation of these Terms of Service
  • Your violation of any third-party right, including without limitation any copyright, property, or privacy right
  • Any content you submit, post, or transmit through our Service
  • Your violation of any applicable law or regulation

This indemnification obligation will survive the termination of these Terms of Service and your use of our Service.

Accuracy of Materials​

The materials appearing on ClaudeLog could include technical, typographical, or photographic errors. We do not warrant that any of the materials on its website are accurate, complete, or current. We may make changes to the materials contained on its website at any time without notice. However, we do not make any commitment to update the materials.

ClaudeLog may contain links to third-party websites or services that are not owned or controlled by us. We have no control over and assume no responsibility for the content, privacy policies, or practices of any third-party websites or services.

Prohibited Uses​

You may not use our Service:

  • For any unlawful purpose or to solicit others to perform illegal acts
  • To violate any international, federal, provincial, or state regulations, rules, laws, or local ordinances
  • To infringe upon or violate our intellectual property rights or the intellectual property rights of others
  • To harass, abuse, insult, harm, defame, slander, disparage, intimidate, or discriminate
  • To submit false or misleading information
  • To upload or transmit viruses or any other type of malicious code
  • To spam, phish, pharm, pretext, spider, crawl, or scrape
  • For any obscene or immoral purpose

Export Control and International Compliance​

You acknowledge that our Service, content, and technical information may be subject to export control laws and regulations, including those of the United States, Uganda, and other countries. You agree to comply with all applicable export control laws and regulations.

International Use​

Our Service is hosted and operated from Uganda. If you access our Service from other countries, you are responsible for compliance with local laws in your jurisdiction, including but not limited to:

  • Data protection and privacy regulations
  • Import/export restrictions
  • Content accessibility requirements
  • Tax and reporting obligations

Restricted Access​

We reserve the right to restrict access to our Service from certain countries or territories if required by applicable law or if we determine it necessary for legal compliance.

Newsletter and Communications​

By subscribing to our newsletter, you agree to receive periodic emails from us. You may unsubscribe at any time by using the unsubscribe link in our emails or by contacting us directly.

Termination​

We may terminate or suspend your access to our Service immediately, without prior notice or liability, for any reason whatsoever, including without limitation if you breach the Terms.

Force Majeure​

ClaudeLog shall not be liable for any failure or delay in performance of our Service due to events beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to:

  • Acts of God, natural disasters, epidemics, or pandemics
  • War, terrorism, civil unrest, or government actions
  • Internet or telecommunications outages not caused by ClaudeLog
  • Power outages or hardware failures beyond our control
  • Labor disputes or strikes affecting third-party service providers
  • Changes in laws or regulations that affect our ability to provide the Service

During any such force majeure event, ClaudeLog will use reasonable efforts to minimize service disruption and will resume normal operations as soon as reasonably possible.

Governing Law and Dispute Resolution​

Governing Law​

These terms and conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Uganda, without regard to conflict of law principles.

Dispute Resolution Process​

For any disputes arising out of or relating to these Terms or your use of our Service:

Step 1: Direct Communication You agree to first contact us at hello@claudelog.com to attempt to resolve the dispute informally.

Step 2: Mediation If informal resolution fails, either party may initiate non-binding mediation through a mutually agreed mediator.

Step 3: Arbitration or Court Proceedings If mediation is unsuccessful, disputes may be resolved through:

  • Binding arbitration under the rules of a mutually agreed arbitration organization, OR
  • Court proceedings in the appropriate courts of Uganda

Jurisdiction​

You irrevocably submit to the jurisdiction of the courts of Uganda for any court proceedings, and waive any objection to venue in such courts.

Assignment and Transfer​

ClaudeLog may assign, transfer, or delegate any or all of our rights and obligations under these Terms without your consent to:

  • An affiliate or subsidiary company
  • A successor entity through merger, acquisition, or sale of assets
  • Any party in connection with any business restructuring

You may not assign, transfer, or delegate your rights or obligations under these Terms without our prior written consent. Any attempted assignment without such consent will be void.

These Terms are binding upon and will inure to the benefit of the parties and their respective successors and permitted assigns.

Changes to Terms​

We reserve the right, at our sole discretion, to modify or replace these Terms at any time. If a revision is material, we will try to provide at least 30 days notice prior to any new terms taking effect.

Severability​

If any provision of these Terms is held to be unenforceable or invalid, such provision will be changed and interpreted to accomplish the objectives of such provision to the greatest extent possible under applicable law and the remaining provisions will continue in full force and effect.

Entire Agreement​

These Terms of Service, together with our Privacy Policy and any other policies or agreements referenced herein, constitute the entire agreement between you and ClaudeLog regarding your use of our Service. This agreement supersedes all prior or contemporaneous communications, proposals, and agreements between you and ClaudeLog relating to the subject matter herein.

No waiver, modification, or amendment of these Terms will be effective unless in writing and signed by ClaudeLog. No failure or delay by ClaudeLog in exercising any right, power, or privilege under these Terms will operate as a waiver thereof.
